The Warrnambool campus library collection is available for SWTAFE students and staff Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm.
The Library is closed to the general public until further notice.
We ask that every visitor in the library sign in at the Library desk and follow all COVID-safe measures outlined below and displayed with signage throughout the library.
Maintaining physical distance within the library is an important way to help us remain safe. We ask that all students adhere to the distancing standards in place. Everyone must maintain 1.5 m distance from one another in the library.
Please utilise the hand sanitiser within the library, especially before and after using library computers.
To adjust your behaviour, act as if you were actually sick (even if you are not) i.e. be mindful of handwashing, coughing, sneezing, etc. This simple change in behaviour will greatly assist in diminishing potential spread. The Department of Health recommends the following steps to reduce your exposure and chances of getting ill with COVID-19.
Wash your hands often with soap and water (for at least 20 seconds), especially after you have been in a public place or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitiser that contains at least 60 per cent alcohol.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. If you don’t have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve or elbow.
Clean and disinfect high touch surfaces regularly.
Stay home if you are sick and don’t expose others.
Get vaccinated for flu (influenza) when available in April. It is not yet known whether COVID-19 could significantly increase the risks of influenza infection.
Stop shaking hands as a greeting.
